Bill graduated from Kilgore High School in 1975 and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army Special Forces from July 1982 to June 1985. Following his military service, he worked in construction with HB Zachry for many years, where he developed a strong skillset in welding and earned the respect of those he worked alongside.

Bill had a deep love for reading, was a talented artist known for his humorous sketches, and played the guitar with great skill. His all-time favorite band was The Beatles, and his favorite album was the White Album.
He often shared cherished childhood memories, especially about Nix Lake, and was always the center of conversation among family and friends.
A cremation service is planned, and no service is scheduled at this time. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
Bill will be remembered for his dedication to family, his hard work, his humor, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
