Thomas Perry Parker, Jr., affectionately known as "Tooter" to his friends and family, a man whose vibrant spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on the lives he touched, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Elysian Fields, Texas, at the age of 50. Born on December 7, 1974, in Bossier City, Louisiana, Tooter grew up to be a man of many talents and immense warmth, touching the hearts of all who knew him. He was a beacon of light in the lives of his parents, Thomas Perry Parker, Sr. and Brenda Bagley Parker, who survive him. He was a cherished grandson to Mary Bagley and held dear the memory of his late grandparents, Arthur Bagley, Joseph and Elizabeth Parker; and his uncle David Parker. His sister, Heather Parker Almond, her husband Will, and their children, Parker, Ben, and Ashton, will fondly remember their uncle's adoration and playful spirit. Tooter was a beloved nephew to his aunts and uncles, Margaret and Mike Dever, Ken and Janice Cooley, Steve and Patricia Parker, Doc and Emily Hunt, Terry and Diana Bagley, and Bill and Becky Bagley. His numerous cousins, lifelong friends "brothers from another mother" Jeremy Smith and Gary Whittington, and a special co-worker he loved dearly, Mike Walls; many other friends and co-workers will forever cherish the friendship and joy he brought into their lives. He was also preceded in death by his loyal companion, his dog Jake, who was by his side for 17 years. After attending Community College Tooter was an alumnus of Louisiana State University and was the university's most ardent supporter, showing unwavering loyalty through triumphs and trials alike. His career journey was as diverse as his interests, starting at Oxford Street, moving through Delta Airlines, LSU Administration, and Ameriquest. For the past 20 years, he was a valued employee at Holmes Honda. His knowledge and expertise in the IT field were indispensable. A self-taught meteorologist, he was the family's go-to source for storm preparations, always ensuring their safety and readiness. Tooter's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, having been saved and baptized at Highland Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. His love for the Lord shone through in the way he lived his life and cared for others. A man of many passions and talents, Tooter loved to draw, loved fishing, playing drums, and strumming the guitar, which he learned to play on his own. His video gaming skills were a source of entertainment and camaraderie. An outdoorsman at heart, Tooter had an affinity for all creatures and a gift for nurturing the world around him. True to his love of people, tailgating and the genuine camaraderie he cherished, he held season tickets for 17 years watching the LSU Tigers football team and also was a season pass holder to Disneyland, embracing his eternal youthfulness and the joy that it brought not only to him but also to those around him. Tooter's wisdom and creativity surpassed his years, and his attention to detail was unmatched. Yet, it was his love for his family and his commitment to helping others that truly defined him. He took immense pleasure in caring for his Granny and PawPaw, assisting them with errands and providing support in any way they needed. Thomas Perry Parker, Jr.'s legacy is one of love, service, and joy. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, we take solace in the knowledge that his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. His memory will be treasured forever, and his influence will live on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. A Celebration of Tooter's life will be held at 5:00pm, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at The Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home.
