Taylor Austin Tevebaugh

A Life Celebration Funeral Service will be held for Taylor Austin Tevebaugh on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at East Mountain Baptist Church in East Mountain, Texas. A time of Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at East Mountain Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Taylor went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at his home in Terrell, Texas. He was born July 31, 1996 in Longview, Texas. Parents, Craig and Twillia Tevebaugh of Mineola, and Taffy and Jerome Susik of Longview.

He graduated from Canton High School and went to all state UIL as a French horn player, where he placed. He later attended Tyler Junior College to earn an Associates of Arts Degree, and then to UT Tyler where he earned a music of education, Bachelor of Arts degree. He taught music at Rice ISD, music and band at New Castle ISD, and music at Mesquite ISD. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, J.C. and Hattie Medlin, Gene and Violet Tevebaugh, Leviathan Walser, Trafford Cury, Hubert and Joyce Owens, and grandparent Ronnie Owens.

He is survived by his grandparents, Charles and Linda Tevebaugh of Longview, Sandra Owens of Terrell, Sister Danica Bacon and husband Cameron, niece Paisley Adeline, of Tool, and brother James Irving of Lindale, Uncle Greg and wife Christi Tevebaugh of Golden, Cousin Lauryn and Fiancé Jea Lee of Richardson. Uncle Jim and wife Kerrie Medlin of Gilmer. Aunt LeVonna Lee, Aunt Gloria, and Uncle Howard Parker of Longview, and Linda Hargrove of Terrell. And many, many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.

He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. A dedicated musician and teacher; to know him was to love him.

A Life Celebration funeral service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at East Mountain Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
