Shirley Kisner Life Story

Shirley Jean Kisner passed away January 16, 2020 in Plano, Texas. Shirley was born in Ogden, Utah on April 20, 1946. She and her husband were married on November 5, 1978 in Costa Mesa, California and moved to Longview, Texas in 1995 and joined Mobberly Baptist Church almost immediately, Shirley became heavily involved in choir, small groups, various mission activities, benevolence and devotional writing for the “Watchman on the Wall” ministry.
She is survived by her husband, James Kisner, daughter and son-in-law Gina and Dan Blakeley, son Ted Caldwell, daughter and son-in-law Keri and Ken Cochran, and son Joe Kisner. She has 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild living in the states of Texas, Utah and California.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home. A Life Celebration® will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home.
She is sorely missed by her family and church members and has truly been a gift from God.
