Santa was born February 6, 1950 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She was the fourth of five children born to Gabriel Jasso and Juana Torres. Santa moved to Chicago, IL where she met her husband, Jose Roberto Aquino. Jose and Santa eventually moved to Texas and together, they raised 10 children. Santa worked at La Fama Foods for about 20 years before retiring to be a full-time mother and grandmother. Santa loved to cook and clean and enjoyed spending time with her family. She most enjoyed when all of her family was together in one place, whether it was spending the holidays together or a weekend cookout at her house. She loved watching soccer, whether it was cheering Chivas or Mexico on from the couch or watching her kids and grandkids play. She also enjoyed traveling to Mexico to visit with family and often spent her summer months there. She was the kind of person who put everyone else first and would give someone the shirt off of her back without hesitation. Santa was always kind and loving to family, friends, and even strangers, and she was loved dearly by everyone in return. She was always happy and had a contagious smile on her face. Santa lived up to her name and was truly a saint. She will always be loved and deeply missed.
