Life Story

Sandra “Lou” Connor, 61, of New Diana, Texas, passed away on April 5, 2022.

She was born to parents, Kent and Frances Murphy, on July 2, 1960 in Starkville, Mississippi.

Lou was the owner of Lou’s Classic Diner in Ore City since July 2015. It was one her life’s dream to own her own restaurant. Her passions included always cooking, working outside in her garden, listening to music, mowing the yard, and spending time with her kids and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Francis Murphy as well as her sister, Lynn Montgomery.

Lou is survived by her Husband, Brian Connor; her four Children, Chris Peck and wife Teena Peck; Amber Stalnaker and husband Jason Stalnaker; Randall Peck and wife Tara Peck; Mysti Peck and fiancé Jared Martin; her sisters, Brenda and husband Carl Reeder and Sue Murphy and fiancé Bob Davis. She had Nine grandchildren who she loved very much.

The family has entrusted Welch Funeral Home with the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 pm. A Life Celebration service is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 am.
