Ruby Dale (King) Bloodworth

Ruby Dale Bloodworth passed away peacefully of natural causes in her hometown of Longview, Texas on November 12, 2023. Dale was born in Longview on October 19, 1928, and later married Charles C. (Chuck) Bloodworth on September 6, 1947.

Dale worked various jobs in Longview but was most honored to be a homemaker and mother to her two children, Sandra Lynn and Gary Don. Dale was a long time member of Greggton First Baptist Church. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched during her life.

Dale was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Vertie King; her siblings, Coy King Jr., Tommy King, Donnie King; and sister, Bobbie Ballard; her husband, Chuck, her son, Gary; and son in law, Phil Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sandra Smith; daughter in law, Linda Bloodworth; her only grandson, Cody Bloodworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. As we say goodbye to Dale, we celebrate her life and honor her memory with the same love and respect she so freely passed on others. She will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Old White Oak Cemetery on Bingham Road in White Oak, Texas with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating.
