Ruby Beloney Life Story

Ruby Louise Beloney, a cherished matriarch and beloved figure in her community, passed away peacefully of natural causes on December 19, 2025, in Corsicana, Texas. Born on March 18, 1937, in Camden, Arkansas, Ruby's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Ruby was the heart of her family, a lineage graced with love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Alex Jr. Beloney; her parents, Calip Henry Eagle Ethridge and Annie Mae Ethridge; her brothers, Billy Joe, Lonnie Earl, and Calvin Ethridge; and her sisters, Irene, Erma, and Bettie Ethridge. Ruby endured the profound loss of her son, Alex Beloney Jr., and son-in-law, Henry McQueen, with grace and strength.

Surviving Ruby are her adoring children: Mary McQueen, Evelyn and Joe Jones, John David and Pam Beloney, and Johnny McCoy. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward with stories of her boundless love and humor.

Ruby's life was marked by her unwavering faith in Christianity, which guided her through life's trials and triumphs. Her work ethic was unparalleled, demonstrated by over 15 years as a dedicated machine operator, where she was not only a colleague but also a friend to many.

Her interests were simple yet filled with joy. Ruby was an avid bingo player, a bargain hunter at garage sales, and a woman who cherished the moments spent surrounded by her family. Her grandchildren, in particular, were the recipients of her endless affection and playful antics.

Ruby's sense of humor was as legendary as her spirit was indomitable. She was the embodiment of love, always ready with a funny story or a kind word, and her spirited nature inspired those around her to embrace life with similar gusto.

To her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Ruby was a source of laughter and warmth. Her presence was a comforting constant, and her absence will be felt deeply.

Ruby Louise Beloney's journey on this earth may have concluded, but the memories she created, the love she shared, and the joy she spread will continue to resonate for generations. Her funny, loving, and spirited essence will not be forgotten, and her story will be told with smiles and fondness, as she would have wished. Ruby's life was a testament to the beauty of family, the strength of faith, and the power of a good laugh. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
