Ronny Earl Coble, affectionately known as Ronny to friends and family, passed away on June 10th, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on August 4, 1948, in Odessa, Texas. Ronny grew up with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, a trait that would define his outlook and endear him to all who knew him. He peacefully departed this world in Longview, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones, following a brave battle with cancer. Ronny's life was marked by steadfast love and commitment to his family. He is survived by his cherished wife of 26 years, Belinda Coble, whose partnership with Ronny was a testament to unwavering companionship and love. Together, they raised a family with bonds that only grew stronger with time. His legacy is carried on by his loving daughter, Judy Lacey, his supportive son-in-law, Mark Lacey, and his devoted son, Jason Rowden, with daughter-in-law Camilla Rowden standing by his side. Ronny's joy was multiplied with the arrival of each grandchild: Bayleigh and Cole Lacey, Lauren and Lindsey Rowden, who will forever miss their RaRa's guiding light and gentle humor. The family circle that Ronny valued so deeply also included his caring brother-in-law Gary Broussard, with Leesa Broussard, and sister-in-law Beth Fucik, with brother-in-law Toby Fucik, as well as Larry Broussard, with Jana Broussard. Each family member found in Ronny a kind and thoughtful presence, always ready to listen, laugh, and lend a hand. Ronny's life was defined by devoted service and unwavering love. He valiantly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, a testament to his strength and patriotism. After his honorable military service, he found his calling in sales and dedicated forty years to Gillespie Coatings, where he excelled as a Sales Manager. Ronny's professional demeanor, combined with his genuine interest in people, made him not only a respected colleague but also a true friend to many within the industry. Ronny's interests outside of work spoke to the essence of who he was - a man who loved the land and the freedom it offered. An avid hunter, he found solace in the quiet of the woods, a reverence for nature, and a respect for wildlife. Ronny was also a fishing enthusiast, always eager for an opportunity to cast a line into the serene waters of his favorite lakes and rivers. He was a lifetime supportive member of the NRA. His appreciation for guns, not just as tools for the hunt but as objects of craftmanship, mirrored his respect for the tradition and precision. Those who knew Ronny best would describe him as thoughtful, loving, and funny - a man whose sense of humor and warmth could light up any room. His ability to find the goodness in every situation and his knack for storytelling left a lasting impression on everyone around him. Ronny's life was a vivid tapestry of kindness, laced with laughter and a genuine understanding of the importance of family, friendship, and community. As we remember Ronny, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey well traveled. He leaves behind memories that sparkle with his wit and humor. His spirit, eternally woven into the lives of those he touched, will continue to inspire and guide us. While Ronny's physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit remains an indelible mark on our hearts, reminding us to cherish the natural world he so loved, to foster the relationships he so valued, and to approach each day with the same optimistic spirit that he carried throughout his life. Ronny's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will forever remain a source of comfort and strength to all who had the privilege to know and love him. As we bid farewell to Ronny Earl Coble, we honor his enduring legacy and the immeasurable impact he had on the lives around him.
