Her role as Oma was one she cherished deeply, and she was blessed to see her family grow and flourish, welcoming each new addition with open arms and an open heart.

An active member of the community, Phyllis was a devoted member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Longview, where her faith-filled presence was a source of comfort and inspiration. Her spiritual life was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and joys with grace and resilience.

Phyllis's interests were as varied as they were rich. As a Master Gardener, she found solace and joy in the cultivation of her garden, tending to her plants with the same care and attention she gave to her loved ones.

A lifelong supporter of the arts, Phyllis was an avid season ticket holder for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, where she delighted in the swell of music and the shared experience of live performances. Her love for animals was another facet of her compassionate nature, always ensuring that the family pets received love and care.

She found beauty in the everyday, from the pages of a well-loved book to the intricate melodies of a symphony. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and inspiration, and though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created will continue to bring joy to those she left behind.
