Reflection of Life
Pauline Miller Perkins was born July 17, 1927, in Tallahassee Ok. She was an only child. She eventually moved to Los Angeles Ca. where she met and married Charles Perkins on September 19, 1957. They moved to Pomona, Ca. where she worked many years for Pomona school district, where she retired as a cook. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was called home August 15, 2024. Pauline was 97. Between Charles and Pauline, they had a total of 9 children, and it didn't stop there. They took on kids that weren't even theirs. Monica, Lynise and Diane. That's how devoted she was with family. Never saw her without a smile, always vibrant and ready to go. Keeping God first, always giving him praise. A giver, not looking for anything in return. She was loved by many. To know her was to love her. Beautiful Butterfly Our. Preceded in death by her parents, Lish Miller and Willie Lee Vice and 2 children Barbara McQueen, Anthony Perkins. Survived by husband Charles Perkins 7 children, honorary Perkins McDaniel, Arvis Perkins Askew, Fred Perkins, Carlton Perkins, Ronald Perkins, Charleszetta Taylor, Reginals Perkins, 21 grandchildren and 42 great grand kids.
