Paul Hamblin Life Story

Paul Christian Hamblin was born June 5, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Russell Kearns and Billie Dickey Hamblin. He died October 30, 2023 at his home in Uncertain, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother Billie, his sister, Kathy Hamblin, and son, Shane Allen Hamblin. He is survived by his son, Justin Hamblin and grandchildren Zachary, Leah, Jaxson, Axle and Kamryn Hamblin. He is also survived by his father, Russell K. Hamblin, brothers Jonathan Hamblin and wife Zoraida, David Hamblin and wife Becky, Russell J Hamblin, and sister Joan Demmon and her Husband Richard. He was also survived by his life partner Julie Akes Hamblin.
Paul graduated from Karnack High School and was baptized at First Baptist Church, Karnack, Texas. He spent his working career as a roughneck on East Texas oil wells. Paul always had a faithful dog by his side and loved rock music, going to concerts, riding his motorcycle, and walking the banks of Caddo Lake while talking with God. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
The family will have a memorial service on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Tower Baptist Church, 6103 LA-169, Mooringsport, LA 71060.
