Patricia Stone Life Story

Patricia “Patty” Ann Stone

Patricia “Patty” Ann Stone was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia left this world on Monday, September 13, 2021, only a few days past her 57th birthday.

Patty was born on September 6, 1964, in Longview, Texas. She graduated from Tatum High School and worked in a number of professional settings throughout her lifetime.

Patty was known as Sissy, Pat, and Lovie to her family. She spent countless hours caring for, laughing with, and loving her many family members. It was not unusual for Patty to pick up one of the nieces or nephews with her car radio blasting AC/DC "Back in Black," or just spend the evening musing over a beautiful sunset. Whether it was fishing, dancing, visiting the beach, playing with her dogs, doing yard work, taking photos of sunsets or enjoying the flight of a dragonfly, Patty seemed to find peace and joy in the simplest pleasures in life. To know Patty was to laugh your fullest belly laugh. She was funny and quick-witted, but also straightforward and kind. Patty loved spending time with those close to her heart.

Patty Stone is lovingly remembered by five siblings, Sherry Stone of Tatum, Texas; Bobby Stone, Jr. (Linda) of Sacramento, California; Brenda Stone of Longview, Texas; Kim Permenter of Tatum, Texas; and Brandon Stone (Kim) of Gilmer ,Texas; as well as her Aunt Priscilla Thomas of Marshall, Texas; Uncle Pete Mobbs (Linda) of Longview, Texas; and Uncle Don Stone of Longview, Texas. She is survived by nieces, Misty Roberts (Preston); Heather Elarmo (Jared); Hannah Nipp (Haley); Bobbie Bencivengo (Kyle); and Chloe Permenter; nephews, James Howell (Denise); Joey Howell (Ivy); Jon Howell (Adrienne); Dylan Stone; and Brandon R. Stone Jr., in addition to many great nieces, great nephews, and a host of cousins. She is also survived by her best friend, Kelly Maxwell of Lake Murvaul and Godson, Addison Maxwell. She leaves behind her canine companions, CeCe and Ella.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Stone of Longview; niece, Emily McCracken; and her mother and dad, Willena and Joe Metcalf of Tatum, Texas.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Howell, Joey Howell, Jon Howell, Dylan Stone, Addison Maxwell, and Brandon R. Stone Jr.
