Patricia Vail Leverett

Ms. Patricia Vail Leverett passed away on June 21, 2025 at 9:25pm at Summer Meadows Nursing Home in Longview, TX from Stomach Cancer. She was 75 years old. She was born on September 11, 1949 in Longview, TX to Oscar Manton Leverett and Helen Joyce Leverett. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael Leverett. She is survived by her son Carl Fyffe and daughter-in-law Loretta Fyffe, her grandsons Lorenzo Hernandez and Christian Fyffe, and her granddaughter Abigail Fyffe. 

Patricia was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her church friends so much. She was a proud Texan and cheered for the Cowboys. She always had a kind word and a cheerful heart. 

Texas means friendship. And Patricia was Texas through and through. She could make friends with anyone. 

She was born in Longview and graduated from Longview Highschool. She then moved to DFW for work. Later, Patricia returned to Longview and worked for the Longview Water Department for many years.
