Maxine (Bazar) Silvey

On November 23, 2024 Maxine got her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 92 years old. Maxine was born in Luling, Texas and spent most of her life in Waskom, Texas. She was well-loved in her small town. Maxine was the mother of 4 and the grandmother of 44 grand children, great grand children, and great-greats. Despite such a large family, Maxine always made time for everyone and brought in so many more that were considered family. She truly loved everyone.
Maxine was predeceased by her husband James Silvey and her son Raymond Silvey. She is survived by her three daughters Barbara Simmons, Linda Szilagyi, and Debra Graves, her 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
We invite you to join us for a homegoing services. The service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Waskom. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.
