Max Dewitt Nation Jr. was born on July 16, 1948 in Gilmer, Texas. Max passed away on December 29, 2020 from complications of COVID 19. He is preceded in death by his parents Max Nation Sr. and Gladys Salter Nation. He is survived by his daughters Lisa Meixelsperger of McKinney, Texas, Tabatha Stanford and her Husband Adam of East Mountain. Texas, Randi Rowe and her Husband Daniel of Longview, Texas and the mother of his children Judy Nation. He has 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Max graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1967. He was a member of the Ware Acres Baptist Church and was a proud Mason. Max opened several local convenient stores in the mid 80’s and was a successful salesman for Allen Machinery and Waukesha Pearce where he retired in 2014. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the East Old City Hall. Flowers can be received at 2032 Eden Dr in Longview, Texas 75601.
