She was a graduate of Marshall High School and carried the values of her education throughout her life, applying them in her work and community involvement. Upon retiring from Pegues Hurst in Longview, Martha dedicated herself even more fully to the service of others. Her work did not define her; instead, it was her tireless efforts with Meals on Wheels, various Community Outreach Programs, and her active participation in the First Christian Church Women's Groups that truly encapsulated her essence. She lived her faith through action, embodying the Christian call to love and serve others.
Martha's family was the heart of her world. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Earl and Lida Mae Moos of Marshall, brother, Richard Moos of Longview, son, Steve Nash of Gladewater, Grandson, Kurt Nash of Longview, Son in Law, Robert Bryant of Longview. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son, Kyle Nash and his wife Sheri of Gladewater, daughters, Kim Nash and Nicki Bryant of Kilgore. And three great-grandchildren.
In her lifetime, Martha cultivated relationships that reached far beyond her immediate family. She was a friend, a mentor. Her gentle spirit and kind heart made her a confidante to many, and her wisdom will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Martha's journey on earth may have concluded, but her spirit remains alive in the countless lives she touched. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, selfless service, and deep faith. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her life was well-lived and that her impact will continue to resonate for generations to come.
