Marion Fay (Choate) Perez

Marion Fay Perez of Longview, Texas passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 73. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on September 8, 1948, to Bertie and Chester Choate.

Marion leaves behind children, Lolita; Elizabeth; Cynthia; Richard; and Reno; grandchildren, Amanda; Deanna; Ignacio; Victoria; Monica; Ricardo; Brandon; Anna; Erica; Leticia; Veronica; Tiffany; Ryan; Savannah; and Brittany; as well as many great grandchildren. Traveling was Marion's passion, she traveled the world in her younger years. She loved to play bingo, cards, and to go camping. She loved being with her family and especially loved having her grandchildren sleep over. She was always known to have her phone right by her side so she could keep up with gossip. Marion, or Nanny as everyone called her, loved everyone and was quick to help anyone in need. Everyone around her loved her very much, and she will be forever missed.

A Life Celebration® funeral service for Marion will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home starting at 2:00 pm .
