Margaret, a graduate of John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia, dedicated many years of her life as an appointment secretary at Olan Mills, where her warm presence and sharp organizational skills were greatly valued. Her colleagues remember her as the heart of the office, always ready with a humorous quip or a listening ear.
Throughout her life, Margaret found great joy in the simple pleasures. She was an avid player of cards, a master of puzzles, and always enjoyed a competitive game of dominoes or dice. Her laughter during these games was infectious, and she became a cherished companion to many neighbors and fellow church members who shared in these pastimes.
Margaret's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life. She lived her beliefs through her actions, showing kindness and love to everyone she encountered. Her family, friends, and community experienced her faith as a living testament to the grace and compassion that defined her.
Leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, Margaret is survived by her devoted son, Charles David Gentry, and his wife, Judy; her loving daughter, Karen Perryman, and her favorite son-in-law, Steve. Her spirit will live on through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will continue to be inspired by her life.
Margaret's family was the center of her universe. She was a source of endless support and wisdom, always there to celebrate their triumphs and offer solace during their trials. Her guidance was gentle yet profound, and her ability to listen and truly hear made her an irreplaceable confidant.
Those who knew Margaret best will remember her as funny, kind, and selfless.
