Loyd Dell Hall, JR. was born on October 7, 1946 in Shawnee, OK. He returned to his heavenly home in the early morning hours on August 23, 2020. He was born to Loyd Dell Hall, SR. and Pearlie Mae Hall and is preceded in death by them. Also, preceded in death by his father in law, Joseph Roden, of Longview, TX and sister in law, Selena Childs, of White Oak, TX. In July of 1964, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps. He served in the Vietnam War for four years. He was a devout Christian man, wonderful husband, daddy, brother, pawpaw, and friend. He never met a stranger. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his loving wife of 29 years, Lisa. He also leaves behind his daughter and son in law, Nick and Michelle Bonnette, of Ore City, TX and their four children; son and daughter in law, Travis and Amanda Hall, of Collinsville, OK and their four children; son, Loyd Hall, the third, of Collinsville, OK; daughter Laura Hall of Sand Springs, OK and her seven children; and 2 additional grandchildren; his brother and sister in law, Mike and Charlotte Hall, of Sperry, OK; Brother in law, JD Childs, of White Oak, TX; sister and brother in law, Lori and Steven Raney, of Longview, TX; brother in law and sister in law, Jay and Kim Roden, of Hallsville, TX; Mother in law, Mary Roden, of Longview, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom he loved all so dearly. Loyd loved his grandbabies, especially, and had a precious bond with them. He also loved going to church, telling his life stories, sitting in his recliner with his lap dog, Lil’ bit, and bossing his beautiful wife. His presence will be greatly missed by his loved ones. There will be a memorial service held at his church, The Church at West Mountain, in Gilmer, TX on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.
