Louis Markham Ramsey

Louis Markham Ramsey, age 85, of Diana, Texas passed away on Monday, September 1st, 2025.
He was born on May 19, 1940 in Diana, Texas to Imma Fay and Mack Ramsey. He enjoyed white tail hunting, fishing for catfish and bass, watching old westerns, and he was a hot rod enthusiast.
He is survived by his sons Mark Ramsey and wife Cami of Harleton, TX, Charlie Ramsey and wife Rhonda of Hallsville, Texas; brothers Bobby Ramsey and wife Joan of Avinger, TX, William Ramsey of Diana, TX, Richard Ramsey and wife Lora of Jefferson, TX, Gaylon Ramsey and wife Mia of Hatfield, AR, Jack Ramsey of Longview, TX, Larry Ramsey and wife Sue of Harleton, TX, Donald Ramsey and wife Laurie of Marshall, TX, Michael Ramsey and wife Carla of Diana, TX; sisters Linda Freeman and husband Paul of Lake Cherokee, TX, Reba Freeman and husband Robert of Lake Cherokee, TX, Sandra Kay Drautz and husband George of Texarkana, TX.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents Mack and Imma Ramsey and his brother Buddy Ramsey.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday September 4, 2025 at The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday September 5, 2025 at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton, Texas.
