Lloyd Lee Phelps peacefully passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 84 in his Jefferson, TX home. He was born on April 3, 1940, in Rock Island, IL to Ollie and Mary Phelps.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Laura Phelps and seven children: Susan (Norman) Aleshire of Joplin, MO; Lila (Terry) Ayers of Ewing, VA; Lloyd Phelps Jr. (Denisha) of Auburn, WA; Mary (Mike) Frady of Ewing, VA; Karen (Robert) Hensley of Pathfork, KY; Carmen (Chris) Wooten of Mesquite, TX; and Brian Phelps (Dixie) of Kansas City, KS. Lloyd's legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will keep his memory alive.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. Renowned for his handy skills and intelligence, his kind spirit shaped many lives. Lloyd's remarkable presence will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
