Lila Faye Bowden age, 86, of Longview, Texas passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at her home. She was born on January 15, 1934 in the Whipple Community Near Oak Hill, West Virginia to Annie P and Thomas Fraga. She later married Charles Bowden on June 26, 1952 before he shipped out for basic training prior to deploying to Korea.
She dedicated her life to family. She was passionate about her home and gardening and her grandchildren
Lila is survived by two children Lynn Meadows of West Virginia and Kim Graham husband Richard of Longview Texas, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and sister Nora Brown and husband Joe.
She is preceded in death by husband Charles Bowden and reunited with him with her passing on their 68th wedding anniversary. Lila is also preceded her in death by her parents Annie P and Thomas Fraga, two sisters; Nina Green and Stella Zelek, two brothers; Thomas Fraga and Jack Fraga, Granddaughter Emily Ann Denton.
A huge thank you to the people at Hospice Plus for the wonderful care and love shown to the family during this difficult time.
A graveside service will be held inside the Rosewood Park Cemetery Mausoleum on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 3:00 P.M.
