On November 28, 2024, Lee More Cypert left this world for his Heavenly Home. He was born in Brownfield, Texas, in Terry County on December 15, 1936. Lee More is survived by his daughter, Sonja Jackson (Ronny); his grandchildren, Jonathan Swigart (Jennifer), Nicole Seymour (Brian), Matthew Cypert (Kayla), Rachel Boykin (Christian), Leslie Johnson (Kyle), and his beloved twelve great-grandchildren. Of the ten Cypert siblings, Claud is the only brother who survived Lee. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy, second wife, Judith, his father, Filmore, mother, Myrtle, and son, Gregory Scott. Lee was the baby of the loving Cypert family, which included four brothers and six sisters. He told wonderful stories about growing up in a big family, raising cotton, attending school, and playing football. He left Brownfield and attended Southern Nazarene College. He felt a duty to serve in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Japan for two years and felt at ease in his short-term home. Upon his return, he married Judy Ann Berryman in 1960. They had two children, and he exemplified loving our Lord, Jesus Christ. His best days were playing golf, traveling, hiking, or eating chocolate brownies. Lee had professional success as a pharmaceutical and insurance salesman, but his passion was serving as a Mason and contributing to the community. His daughter, Sonja, said he was a master griller who "could make chicken taste like steak. Mother always let Dad take the credit even though she had seasoned everything." After Judy passed, he met and married the second love of his life, Judith Robbins. They lived in Tucson, AZ, until her passing. Then, he moved to live with his daughter, Sonja, in Gladewater, Texas. He enjoyed their daily walks, attending church, and telling stories to the grandchildren he loved.
