Kyle Douglas Campbell, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, left this world too soon on September 3, 2025, at the age of 23. Born on July 17, 2002, in Longview, Texas, Kyle grew up with an infectious smile and a heart full of kindness that he carried with him throughout his life.
Kyle's early years in Ore City were filled with the love and guidance of his family. He was the beloved son of Daniel Campbell and Theresa Campbell, and the treasured stepson of Angela Campbell. His siblings, Kaylee Allen, Jaydan and Dylan Campbell; stepsisters, Kaila Fuller and Jessi McKinney; along with Kaylee's husband Andrew Allen and Kaila's husband Mack Fuller, shared many fond memories that will be forever etched in their hearts. Kyle's joy was multiplied by the love for his nieces, Rory, Zoey, Brynee and Mackynna, and nephews, Wesley, Lincoln, Blayne and Kolsten. His grandparents, Norma Hammond, Richard, and Brenda Campbell, along with Donna and the late Doug McGrath, cherished Kyle and were proud of the young man he became. Kyle's Uncle Dale and Aunt Franca McGrath, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will remember Kyle for the laughter and joy he brought to family gatherings. He will also be dearly missed by his best friend Jeremiah Erickson, his wife, Jaide and their two precious daughters, Kynze & Josie, whom Uncle Kyle loved very much.
After graduating from high school, Kyle pursued his passion for craftsmanship at Texas State Technical College in Marshall, Texas, where he studied welding. His dedication and skill led him to a fulfilling career as a welder and fabricator at PCF in Hallsville, Texas. His colleagues at PCF will remember Kyle as a reliable and hardworking individual who brought both professionalism and humor to the workplace.
Kyle's interests were as varied as they were adventurous. He was an avid pool player, often found strategizing his next shot in his parents' game room. His love for video games, mud riding, fishing, and golf were more than hobbies; they were the activities where he forged lasting friendships and made memories that will be treasured by all who shared these moments with him.
Those who knew Kyle best would describe him as intelligent, funny, and selfless. His intelligence shone through in his quick wit and his ability to solve problems both at work and in his personal life. His humor was a gift that he generously shared, bringing laughter to dull moments and lightening the hearts of those around him. Above all, Kyle's selflessness was evident in the way he lived his life, always putting the needs of others before his own and offering help without hesitation.
Kyle's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. As we say goodbye to Kyle Douglas Campbell, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless ways in which he enriched our lives. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness, and it is with these memories that we will honor him always.
