Kevin Ryan Easley, a cherished son, father, brother, and friend, left this world on July 30, 2024, at the age of 31. Kevin was born on November 19, 1992, in Longview, Texas. He departed this life in the same town that had been his home since his first breath. Raised by his loving parents, Kenneth Wayne and Margaret Jeanell Easley, Kevin grew into a man known for his mischievous ways. He was a devoted father to his sons, Rylan Easley and Jacob Spangler, sharing with them his passion for the outdoors and the simple joy of living each day to the fullest. The boys' mother, Jessica Spangler, along with Kevin's entire family, cherished the moments they spent together. Kevin's spirit of adventure and camaraderie extended to his siblings, who were both his comrades and confidants. He was a supportive brother to Kenneth Easley, Jr. and his wife, Jessica; Ronald McCracken and his wife, Candi; and to his sister, Heather Dockery. His grandmother, Dorothy Wages, his uncles, Terry Wages and wife, Janette, and David Easley, as well as his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and family members, will forever remember Kevin. His passing was preceded by his grandmother, Willie Mae Edwards, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Professionally, Kevin lent his artistic touch to the world as a skilled painter in the construction industry. His work was a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to craft. His colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon, a team player who brought both skill and spirit to every project. Kevin was happiest when he was outdoors, fishing rod in hand or navigating trails on four-wheelers. Campfires illuminated his stories and laughter, and these moments with his children and family were the ones he treasured most. As a child, Kevin was playfully referred to as a "brat," a term of endearment for the mischievous boy who was adored by all. This spirited nature carried into adulthood, where he continued to be a loyal friend to his close friend Jason, with whom he shared countless adventures. Kevin's ability to connect with people from all walks of life was one of his greatest gifts. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As the sun sets on Kevin's earthly journey, his legacy remains bright in the lives of those he touched. He will be remembered not only for the love he gave but also for the strength and passion with which he lived his life. His spirit, as enduring as the Texas sky, will be cherished forever.
