Karisa Dawn (Cook) Brown
Life Story
Karisa Dawn Brown passed away in Longview, Texas on August 7th, 2023. Karisa was born in Lone Star, Texas on April 12th, 1981 to Geraldine Cook and Jerry Don Cook. She is survived by her three children; Jordyn Brown, Coby Brown, and Zane Brown. She is also survived by her mother Geraldine Erwin and stepfather Glenn Erwin, and two sisters; Stephanie Yeager and Brandi Braud.
Karisa graduated from Daingerfield HS. She also attended Kilgore College. Karisa worked as a photographer assistant, staging children photos. She also worked for an organization helping handicapped people find employment. She was a devoted mother. Karisa will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
