June Brown Life Story

June Roberta Thompson was born on a sunny summer day on June 28, 1947. June was a warm person, perhaps due to the month she was born in and named after. She was a bit of a tomboy when she was young and preferred to play in the woods with her dogs. At 17 She gave birth to her first child and was an exceptional mother considering she was still a teenager. Later, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where she had her second child.

At some point, she became more of a hippy than a country girl and started calling herself Bobbie. Her life was not without hardship. She remarried twice and although her last name changed, Bobbie endured. She worked for grocery supply for almost 40 years and would have continued to do so had her health not failed her.

Bobbie dearly loved her pets, but her greatest joy were her granddaughters whom she is survived by, Arianna; Aleeah; and Ariah. She is also survived by her children, Brad; Shanna; Susan and her children, Jacki and Brandon; her brother, John and his children, Lori and John T.; and her late sister's children, Bren; Connie; Carr; and Clint. She was preceded in death by her parents, Avril and Jack; and her sister Florence. She will be terribly missed by us all.
