Joyce Lorene (Calvert) Garrison

Joyce Lorene Calvert Garrison, 85, passed away on April 30, 2023, at Marshall Manor West in Marshall, TX. Joyce was born July 22, 1937, in Henderson, Rusk County, TX, to Carl Edward Calvert and Vera Albert Motley Calvert.

Joyce attended Gaston High School. She worked as a floral designer and bookkeeper for many years. Joyce was a faithful member of Marshall Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years, Huey Dale Garrison. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Tricia) Garrison Bradbury and husband Tim of Sugar Land, TX and Martha Garrison Robbins of Marshall, TX; her granddaughter, Brandy Paxton of Marshall, TX; and great grandson, James Paxton of Marshall, TX.

A time of visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m., Friday, May 5, 2023 at The Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home, Marshall, TX, Please enter the Chapel from the Travis St. Entrance. A Life Celebration Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023 at The Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home. A private interment will be at Algoma Cemetery in Marshall.
