Jonatan J Gaspar “JJ” as he was affectionately known, passed away and stepped into his eternal home on September 18, 2021. He was born to Lisa Gaspar and Martin Gaspar on September 21, 1990.
Jonatan was a passionate visionary with ambition to accomplish what was before him. He was always looking ahead, not content to settle but eager to charge forward to complete the goals he desired. He entered everything wholeheartedly and with full commitment; he sought to do everything well. He will be remembered for his sarcastic humor, genuine concern, and love for his family. He held us all in his heart and connected us to one another.
He enjoyed working out (and posting about it) and connecting to God through his faith and God’s word. He shamelessly enjoyed selfies in the mirror and always needed a tall glass of chocolate milk. He enjoyed sending constant barrage of comical videos to his family and friends. He was also a closet nerd and an avid World of Warcraft, or WOW, player to balance his muscle building.
Jonatan is survived by his mother, Lisa Gaspar; father, Martin Gaspar “Pops”; sister, Lexi Rhodes and her husband Josh; brother, Scott Warren and his wife Angelena; brother, Martin Gaspar and his wife Whitney; brother, Adrian Gaspar. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Elena Gaspar; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces and his love, Anna Gaspar. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Freda Sparks “Ma-Maw”; grandfather, Malcolm Sparks “Peepaw; and niece, Rachael Mauk.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
