Johnny’s first career started at the age of 16 at Baylor Hospital as one of the original 8 that developed Medco Construction for Baylor. That job eventually lead to him being a master ceramic tile setter. His second career began in 1992 as one of the first “Mr. Moms” raising his boys while his wife traveled for business.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Dean Elliott, his mother Vearley Faye Elliott, and sister Jackie Dean Cross.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Michelle Elliott, his three sons, James Winland, Jeremy Elliott and wife Miki, Jacob Elliott and wife Lexie, and grandchildren Margo, McKenzie, Kennedy, and Joseph Elliott, his brother Gary Elliott and his wife Janet. As well numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Garden Court of The Cammack Family Funeral Home.
