Joe Donn Fowler Life Story

Joe Donn Fowler, Jr., known affectionately as Donn to his friends and family, passed away on January 27, 2026, in his hometown of Longview, Texas. He was born on October 5, 1971, to Joe Donn Fowler, Sr. and Frankie Jo Fowler.

A graduate of Pine Tree High School, Donn went on to establish a career as a landman in the oil and gas industry. His professional life was marked by a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence, traits that earned him the admiration of his colleagues and peers.

Donn's love for life was evident in his many passions. An avid golfer, he could often be found on the greens, enjoying the game he loved. His enthusiasm for golf was only matched by his devotion to the Dallas Cowboys, a team he supported through thick and thin. Donn's loyalty and passion for his interests were a reflection of the loving and dedicated man he was.

Those who knew Donn will remember him as a gentle, friendly, and loving individual. His presence brought warmth and kindness to every room, and his smile could light up the darkest of days. Donn's ability to connect with people on a genuine level was one of his most remarkable qualities.

Donn's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife, Sonia, and their son, Adrian, who were the center of his world. His faithful dog, Colt, was a constant companion and source of joy in his life. Donn is also survived by his sisters, Torrie Fiscus and her husband Dan, and Karla Fowler, who will miss their brother's laughter and unwavering support. His nephews, Kevin Leath, Tyler Leath and his wife Shelby, and niece Hannah Fiscus, will hold dear the memories of their kind-hearted uncle. Donn leaves behind numerous cousins who will cherish the times spent with him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe Donn Fowler, Sr. and Frankie Jo Fowler, who instilled in him the values of love, family, and kindness that he carried throughout his life.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2 o'clock for a time of visitation. A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Park Cemetery on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 10 o'clock in the morning.
