Jimmy Valentine Life Story

Jimmy Mack Valentine, 71, got his wings on October 4th, 2021, at home in Ingleside, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 27th, 1950, in Harris County, Texas. On January 25th, 1979, he married the love of his life, Brenda K. Henson. They have been happily married for 42 years.
Jimmy served in the United States Army 1st Calvary until December 7th, 1976. In the army he served as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, which is something he pursued throughout his entire life. He was a mechanic in all aspects. He was a truck driver for a large part of his life, starting early on working for Rusk County as a Road Boss for a long time.
One thing that anyone could tell you about Jimmy is that he never met a stranger. He was the most friendly and big hearted person you could ever meet. If he liked you, you knew it. He was never shy to tell you that he loved you; but if he did not like you, you knew that too. He was never afraid to speak his mind. He was rowdy, fun loving, adventurous 'till the end, and a little crazy.
Jimmy was an avid fisherman and would go fishing anytime he could. He was also exceptionally skilled at building muscle cars. He loved Christmas more than any other holiday, and you could always find him with his little Christmas tree up watching Hallmark Christmas movies with his beloved furbaby, Duke. He was devoted to spending time with his family, playing card games like "Hand and Foot" and going to gun and knife shows. He enjoyed running around to every pawnshop or vegetable stand he could find for his fresh tomatoes, peaches, and pickles!
Jimmy Valentine is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Valentine; children, April Valentine and Jennifer Valentine-Mallett and her husband, Marty Mallett; grandchildren, Ashton Dugie and his wife, Rachael Dugie; Jimmy Dugie; Shelby Dugie; Haley Bryce; and Dustie Bryce; children adopted by love, Brittney Gray; Les Spencer; and Lindsay Buck; great-grandchildren, Paityn Everheart,; Wyatt Everheart; Waylon Dugie; and Andrea 'AJ' Scogin; siblings, Lela Woods and her husband, Sydney Woods; Carroll Valentine and his wife, Peggy Valentine; Dan Walls; Pat Stewart; Brenda S. Bagwell and her husband, Wayne Bagwell; Carl 'Buster' Valentine; Lee Coletta and her husband, Ronnie Coletta; and brother-in-law, James Henson and his wife, Lucy Henson.
