Jessie Eugene Ramey

We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and companion, Jessie Eugene Ramey, on September 18, 2024, at Longview Regional Medical Center.

Jessie, 68, of Longview, Texas, was born in Center, Texas, to Billy and Estelle Ramey. A private man of few words, he touched our lives with his quiet strength and steadfast love. For nearly 35 years, Jessie worked at LeTourneau in the final assembly area, where he excelled as a skilled technician. He played a vital role in the initial checkout of LeTourneau's "world's largest" loaders on the assembly line, passionately bringing these giant machines to life.

Outside of work, Jessie found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting in the woods or fishing on the river. He cherished sharing these experiences with his children and grandchildren.

Jessie is survived by his children: Stephanie (Zack), David (Emily), Michael, Mark (Sevanah), and Cody (Cheyenne); his cherished grandchildren: Cole, Miriam, Kyla, Trex, Bryn, Beckham, and Luka; and his long-time companion, Debbie.

In honoring his wishes, a private family service will be held. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
