Jennifer Kay Ivey; “Granny”-”Granna”, went Home to Jesus on January 21, 2021 at the age of 74 after her fight with Alzheimer’s.
Jennifer was born to Jean and Nora England on November 15, 1946 in Charlotte, Michigan. Where they later moved to Waco, Texas where she enjoyed many wonderful years with her sister Judy Corwin.
Jennifer met her husband Gary Ivey from Borger, Texas in 1973 and later moved to Hallsville, Texas where they grew their family, Jason Ivey, Chad Ivey and Brooke Ivey.
Jennifer worked as a Principal School Secretary for the Hallsville school system for 27 years. She enjoyed knitting, shopping, decorating her home, refurbishing furniture pieces and crafting, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her husband Gary Ivey, her parents Jean and Nora England, her sister Judy Corwin and her grandmother Selma Sommerfeld.
