Life Story

Beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, Jeannette Kay, age 72 passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1951 in Cleburne, Texas to Winford L.C and Edith Jobe. Jeannette attended Diamond Hill High School in Fort Worth and later got her degree with Dallas Baptist University. She had a caring heart and as a caretaker she loved all of her patients. She loved her family, Christmas decorating, cooking, and traveling. Jeannette enjoyed collecting cookie jars, her cousin trips to Winstar and bragging about her granddaughter.
Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents, Winford L.C and Edith Jobe. She is survived by her son, Tim (Tammie) Kay; grandchild, Taylore Kay (Christian) Brigandi; brother, Winford Jobe; nephew, Mitchell (Erika) Jobe; and numerous other family members and close friends. She will be missed by those who were blessed by her love and friendship. A graveside service will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at New Grover Cemetery.
