James Fyffe Life Story

James Reese Fyffe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, at the age of 76, in his hometown of Marshall, Texas. Born on February 22, 1947, also in Marshall, James's life was a testament to his faith, selflessness, and friendly nature that touched the lives of many.
James was the cherished patriarch of a large and loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jill Marie Fyffe, with whom he shared countless memories and unwavering love. Together, they raised a family of sons: James Scott, James Todd, Jonathan Reese, and Zachary Taylor Fyffe (Jennifer). His legacy continues through his stepchildren, Andrea Thorton, Travis Limper, and Laure Limper, as well as his adored grandchildren, Erin Lynn, Sara Elizabeth, Dalton Reese Fyffe, and Forrest Moore who will miss their grandfather's warm presence and guiding light.
Also mourning his loss are his sibling Paul Fyffe, who shared in the joys and sorrows of life with James. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Marguerite Fyffe, his sister, Joyce Alline Fyffe Covin and his brother David Fyffe. His nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends will fondly remember James's generous spirit and the ways he enriched their lives.
James's professional life was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit. In 1986, he founded Fyffe AC Company, which he owned and operated with dedication and integrity. His work ethic and commitment to service were evident in the success of his business and the respect he earned from his colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, James was a committed Mason for 25 years. His involvement in the Masonic community reflected his deep-seated values of brotherhood, charity, and truth. James's commitment to these principles was apparent in the way he lived his life, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer support to those in need.
His love for life was perhaps most evident in his passion for the outdoors. James found joy in the simple pleasures of nature, whether it was a quiet morning walk or an adventurous hunting trip. He believed in the importance of connecting with the world around him and encouraged others to find peace and happiness in the beauty of the outdoors.
James's life was a living example of what it means to be faith-filled and selfless. His friendly demeanor and genuine concern for others made him a beacon of light in his community. He approached every interaction with kindness and an open heart, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
As we say goodbye to James Reese Fyffe, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the profound impact he had on all of us. He will be deeply missed, but the memories of his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering positivity will remain in our hearts forever. James's journey on earth may have concluded, but his spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched with his extraordinary presence.
