James Ewers Life Story

James H. Ewers Sr., age 64, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Longview, TX. He was born March 5, 1955 to Charles and Betty Ewers in Flint, MI. Jim was a graduate of Beecher High School in 1973. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Mt. Morris Twp. Fire department for over 10 years.
Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved baseball, football, Nascar and anything related to the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
Jim was a loved father and grandfather and will be truly missed by many.
Jim is survived by his children Teresa Miley, Jaimie Cole and Jim Ewers. Grandchildren: Blaize Parvin, Gunner Parvin, Jade Cole, Dakoda Cole, Dylan Ewers, Adam Ewers, Jonathan Ewers. Sisters Barbara Anspach, Bunny Sanford, Kay Brooks and brother Chuck Ewers. Many nieces & nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jack Ewers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
