Irma Silvas Robinson, 66, of Longview, Tx (also known as Nana, Irma Lou, or Norma) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 23, 2020. Irma was born on May 22, 1954 in Littlefield, TX to the late Margarito Silvas and Juanita Gonzalez Silvas.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation, Sunday September 27, 2020 in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A Life Celebration will be officiated by Bro. Nathan Rogers on Monday September 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Longview Missionary Baptist Church in Longview, TX.
Irma was the life of the party, she was fun loving, always smiling, and at times even a little feisty. She enjoyed her family and spending time with loved ones as well. We all know she could light up any room with just her smile. She will be greatly missed by many. She supported her five grandsons at their many events from the ballfields to the basketball courts. And chances are if you needed her on a Tuesday night, you could find her playing Shuffleboard!
Irma will be reunited with her husband, Darrell Robinson, of 33 years; her parents; her sister, Olga Perez; her brother-in-law Frank Perez; and brother Art Silvas. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Crystal and Bobby Whitfield; daughter Stephanie Riddle; grandsons Ryon, Anthony, Kaiden, Coleson, and Major; brothers and sister-in-laws Hector and Karla Silvas; Robert and Amelia Silvas; sister and brother-in-law Emma and Joe Flores; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Following the services, Crystal and Bobby Whitfield will be opening their home to family and friends, and be sure to come with your best Irma story!
