Herman Weber Life Story

Herman W. "Buster" Weber Jr., a man whose laughter was as infectious as his generosity, has logged off for the last time. Born on October 4, 1942 in Dallas Texas, Herman spent the last 14 years living in Marshall Texas, where he built a legacy of love, laughter and kindness.
A pioneer in the field of computers, Herman's intellect and curiosity were matched only by his generosity and quick wit. He had a remarkable gift for making people laugh - whether with a perfectly timed joke or a hilarious story.
Herman was the kind of guy who could quote "Monty Python" one minute and discuss the intricacies of the Civil War the next. He had a soundtrack for every occasion and a historical fact for every conversation.
He was a devoted Catholic whose faith shaped his compassion and deep commitment to helping others. Always the first to lend a hand, Herman's selflessness touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
His legacy is carried on by a loving troupe that includes three children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, who all inherited his funny bone and his generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Herman W Weber, sister Fayrine Rateau and brother Gene Weber, all of whom had surely prepared a warm welcome for him on the other side.
His legacy will live on in the laughter he shared, the lives he uplifted, and the many hearts he warmed with his kindness.
A funeral mass in honor will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marshall, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, Texas.
