HELEN (PEGGY) LOUISE BROYLES WILLIAMS

Helen (Peggy) Louise Broyles Williams, age 94, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 28, 2021.
Peggy was one of seven children, born in Hugo, Oklahoma on February 20,1927 to Byron Ernest Broyles and Zena Clementine Duvall Broyles. Peggy married Page Williams on October 22, 1949 and they were blessed to be able to celebrate 69 years of marriage. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. When the children were older, she worked at K Wolens Department store and later at Longview High School Cafeteria from which she retired.
She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She loved Jesus and her family. Peggy was an excellent cook and loved entertaining the family during the holidays. She loved playing dominos, the Texas Rangers, and watching the hummingbirds outside her window. Peggy was a long-time member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Longview.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Page Williams; her parents and siblings; daughter and son-in law, Barbara and Joe Wolfe; grandsons, Joseph (Jody) Wolfe and James (Jamie) Wolfe; son, Richard Ennis; and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Lloyd Littlefield of McKinney, TX; son, David Williams of Longview, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Bretta and Mickey Mehrens of Longview,TX; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sharon Ennis of Lawton, OK; daughter, Shirley McCoy of Kingman, AZ; daughter, Peggy Allen of Cedar Hill, TX; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a number nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sherry Dickson, Toledo Montgomery, and HeartsWay Hospice for the excellent care and support they have provided.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Caviness, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Fellowship Baptist Church, Longview or their favorite charity in Peggy’s name.
