Helen Everett Life Story

Helen Ruth Everett went home to Jesus on April 9, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born to Bill and Amilee Burnett on December 25, 1934 in Tyler, Texas. Christmas was always her favorite holiday, as she loved sharing her birthday with Jesus.

Helen married her husband, Ralph Everett in 1954 and they immediately traveled to San Diego, California where Ralph was stationed in the U.S. Navy. They eventually moved back to Tyler and later settled in Longview where they raised their two children, Brad and Jill. She loved her children more than anything and was their biggest fan.

Helen worked as an business office manager and bookkeeping clerk her entire married life. She was still working for Austin Bank in March of this year. When she wasn't working, Helen could be found cooking in her iron skillet with Crisco. Her specialty was fried chicken. No family gathering was complete without her deviled eggs and chocolate pie.

Helen joins her parents, a brother, Bill and her baby daughter, Cherie in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Everett of Longview, Texas; her son and daughter in law, Brad and Donna Everett of Longview, Texas; her daughter, Jill Everett of Longview, Texas; and 3 grandchildren, Katie, Meagan, and Blake.
