Harley Ray Watterson, 27, of Harleton Texas was born May 29th, 1993, to Wendy Watterson and Robert "Pill" Parker and passed away after a long, hard fought battle with Covid-19 on February 28th, 2021, at Longview Regional Medical Center with his loving wife by his side.
Harley was a kind soul with a giving heart who will be remembered for his humorous comments, fast come backs, genuine smile, and contagious laugh. He was employed by AC Contractors where he was not just an employee, but family. He loved working on cars, enjoyed his RC crawler truck, and target shooting with his friends.
Harley is survived by his wife, Ashley Watterson; mother, Wendy Cox; father, Robert "Pill" Parker; step-mother, Terri Parker; sister, Julie Sample; step-brother, Jason Garcia; nephews, Michael Bliss, Jarek Sample, Jesse Sample, and Cameron Garcia; niece, Gabrilla Garcia; father-in law, Matt Alford; mother-in law, Virginia Alford; brother- in law, John Michael Alford. Harley was preceded in death by his sister, Krystle Reppond; grandparents, Albert and Dollie Cox, Claude and Ima Parker, and Charles "Pete" Alford, and Uncle Joe Cox.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 4th, 2021 in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home. A Life Celebration® funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 5th, 2021, in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home.
Harley touched many lives in his very short lifetime. He made an impact on everyone he met. He
will be truly missed by all of the lives that he touched. Harley was known for comments such as "It'll Buff Out;" Harley you will never Buff Out!
