Glenda Sue Blalack Hearnsberger went to her final heavenly home on May 20, 2024. She was born in Longview, Texas on November 5, 1946 to Fannie and Elgie Blalack. She grew up in a loving home, attended Spring Hill schools - excelling in basketball and cheerleading. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir at Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a talented artist and expressed her love for nature in paintings and floral design. Glenda was a member of the Hallsville chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a devoted wife, proud mother, grandmother and devoted her life to unselfish love for friends and family. She had never-ending patience, a resilient spirit and always took time to listen anytime of the day.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband Joseph William Hearnsberger of Longview, Texas, daughter Cindy Wenninger & husband Peter of Arlington, Texas, son Kelly Hearnsberger & wife Dana of Katy, Texas, brother Jerry Blalack & wife Margaret of Gardnerville, Nevada, and sister Kathy Stuckey of Longview, Texas. Also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren: Ben, Joe, Annie, Andrew, Ethan, Emory, Abram and Archer.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held from 2-3pm on May 26, 2024 at The Cammack Family Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road, Longview, Texas.
