Geraldine Holloway

On February 15th, 2025, Geraldine Orendorff Holloway of Longview, TX, received the amazing gift of eternal peace. She now gets to spend the remainder of eternity with her Lord and Savior. She will forever be in complete health and in need of nothing. Geraldine "Jerrie" was born on December 30th, 1931, in Portales, NM. Geraldine is survived by one of her three sons, Paul Holloway and wife Leighann of Longview, TX, and by one of her seven siblings, Eloise Pliler of Longview, TX, and was the beloved MawMaw to her six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.


Geraldine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Delbert T. Holloway, her sons, Rusty Holloway, and Kenny Holloway, her parents, her brothers Jim, Donald, Charles, and Larry and sisters Lillian Gunter and Waynell Foster.


Geraldine grew up on the family farm until she was able to train as a nurse and fulfill her childhood dream of caring for people as a nurse. After having children, she was able to be a stay at home mom caring for her three boys. Geraldine loved plants and flowers and keeping a beautiful yard. She worked hard along side her husband to build multiple homes for their family, and loved to bless others with fresh produce from their gardens. She will always be remembered as loving, hardworking, and everyone's MawMaw!


A family graveside committal service will be held at the Memory Park Cemetery of Longview, TX, on Friday, February 21, 2025.
