Graveside Services for Mr. Gene Henry Wright of Hallsville, Texas, will be held on Monday, August, 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at The Lagrone Chapel Cemetery in Hallsville, Texas Gene Henry Wright was born in Batavia, New York on September 28, 1940. He is survived by his wife Jean Marie-Wright - Piechocki married for 63 years, sons-Todd, Brent and Brian, Grand Children-Justin and Jenna and their spouses Renee, Alycia and Jake, and three Great Grandchildren- Lane, Colton and Jaelyn. For more than three decades, Gene committed himself to his work with Capacity of Texas and retired in 2006. His contributions were not limited to the building of the company's equipment; Gene was the face of the brand to many across the world, traveling extensively to sell and train others in the use of the equipment. His extensive knowledge made him a respected figure in the industry, and his enthusiasm for his work was infectious. Gene's journey through life was marked by his intelligent, adventurous, and spirited nature-a legacy that he leaves behind for all who knew him. Gene's early life in Batavia was just the beginning of an expansive journey that would take him to Texas and around the globe. He settled on a small farm in Hallsville, Texas in 1971 where he raised his kids and cows. In his personal life, Gene was an avid hunter in his younger years, a passion that spoke to his love for the outdoors and the thrill of the chase. Later, he found solace and joy in farming, that provided a counterbalance to his bustling professional life.
