Life Story

Gary Don Holley, a beloved son of Arlington, Texas, born on November 20, 1968, was called home by our Heavenly Father on September 4, 2023, in Houston, Texas.

A man of faith, Gary Don was a shining beacon in the lives of his family, friends, and community. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and the unwavering faith that guided his every action. Gary Don was a graduate of Midlothian High School and a successful business owner, leading Cross Cleaning Solutions for 24 years. However, his entrepreneurial spirit was only surpassed by his heart for service. He was the founder of On Mission Ministries and Jesus Burger, organizations that reflect his dedication to spreading the love of Christ. His service did not stop there; he also served at the House of Disciples, Highway 80 rescue mission, and Truman Smith Children's Center. His generosity was as boundless as his faith, and he was a testament to the power of Christian love.

Gary Don loved his family with the same fervor with which he loved his faith. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 31 years, Leanne Holley, and a loving father to his son, Logan Holley and his daughter, Graceon Vazquez, married to Ernesto Vazquez. He was also a doting grandfather to his three granddaughters, Wrenly and Haisley Holley and Phoebe Vazquez. His family was his joy, and he was theirs.

A man of many passions, Gary Don found joy in spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren. He believed in the power of the gospel and dedicated his life to sharing it through his cross walk ministry. An active man, he enjoyed working out and spending time at the gym, but his greatest joy was in loving on people through his ministry and his workplace. His life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and kindness. Gary Don was a faith-filled man, always trusting in the Lord's plan. His thoughtful nature led him to consider the needs of others before his own, and his generosity knew no bounds.

As we mourn the loss of our beloved Gary Don, let us remember his life as a testament to the power of faith, love, and selfless service. Let us find comfort in the knowledge that he is now with our Heavenly Father, continuing his mission of love and service in a place free of pain and sorrow. Gary Don Holley, a man of faith, a man of service, a man of love, has returned to the arms of our Lord, leaving a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire us all.

In the words of the Apostle Paul, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Gary Don Holley lived these words every day, and now he rests in the eternal love and peace of our Lord. Amen. JESUS.
