Gary Benford Graham

Gary Benford Graham, known affectionately to friends and family as Gary, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024, in Waskom, Texas, at the age of 70. Born on April 26, 1954, in Hope, Arkansas, Gary was a man whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Graham, and his parents, Bennie Graham and June Traylor. As a proud alumnus of Waskom High School, Gary carried the spirit of his hometown throughout his life. His work ethic was evident through his dedicated years of service at Fab Steel and Gould Batteries.

Upon retirement, Gary found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Gary enjoyed taking his 1967 Ford Mustang to car shows and being with his friends. Gary's presence will be deeply missed, but the essence of who he was will forever be a beacon of light in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.


A graveside service for Gary Benford Graham, will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 12th, 2024 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 11th, 2024 at the Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall.
