Frances Ann (Davis) McGrede

Frances Ann Davis McGrede, 76, of Longview Texas passed away in Longview, Texas on September 13, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

Frances was born March 5, 1943 to JW and Eloise Davis in Carthage, Texas. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Don McGrede, daughter Angela Cromwell of Lewisville Texas, daughter Tonya Shrum and husband Dickey of Flower Mound Texas, daughter Cheryl McGrede and wife Cynthia of Hallsville, Texas, daughter Cindy Sullivan and husband Robert of Hallsville, son Monty McGrede and wife Sallie, of Hallsville. Grandchildren who adore her, Derek Oestreich of Lewisville, Brittany Shrum and husband Josh of Denton, Texas, Halee Shrum of Flower Mound, Lexi Shrum of Flower Mound, Crystal Pool and Husband Michael of Hallsville, Betty Ellen McIlveene of Hallsville and Laura Simon and husband Zack of Hallsville. Brother Jimmy Wayne Davis and wife Mary Lue of Carthage and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Frances is preceded in death by both parents JW and Eloise Davis. Her sister Vickie Conway. Her daughter Brenda Morgan, and her husband Jerry and their children Devon and Shane Morgan, Grandson Tyler Cale.

Frances was a loved and cherished wife, mother, meme, friend, sister, aunt and will be missed beyond words can describe. Her family was her light and she was also the light of her family. This light will now be dim but our Lord Jesus will always light the way and we will follow until we meet again.

A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Spring Hill First Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Spanhanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview, with Dickey Shrum, Brent Hammons, Stephen Hammons, Monty McGrede, and Robert Sullivan serving as pallbearers.
