Funeral services for Emma Massey, age 90, of Jefferson, Texas, will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at The Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. Rev. Monica Massey will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, following the service.

Emma Massey was born May 3, 1932, in Darmstadt, Germany to Wilhelmine Becker. She passed from this life on March 22, 2023 in Marshall, Texas.

Emma Massey married the love of her life, JB Massey in 1952. They had six children and spent 74 years of their life together. Emma loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them playing games and traveling. As the wife of a soldier, she supported her husband and children through many moves and deployments. Emma enjoyed working in the yard and growing flowers.

Emma was an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved well and is tremendously loved.

Gone before her are her husband, JB Massey; sons, Jackie Lee Massey and Michael James Massey; and her mother, Wilhelmine Becker.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Rosel Bertram; her brother-in-law, James Massey and wife Ruth; her children, Troy Massey and wife Betty, Charles Massey, Sue Lamonte, and Hazel Massey Molandes; granddaughters, Hannah Molandes, Monica Massey and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and dear friends.
